Lars joined the military following his school years. He did nine months of military basic service in the Kongelige Livgarde, an infantry regiment within the Danish army. It wasn't the right choice for him to do, so he sought out something different after completing it . He decided to pursue a degree in biology. As he was busy with the course, which had already been a half-year, Anette came home from a juggler class and showed her how well she could do juggling after only three days. Lars was awestruck and wanted to learn more. So, he dropped out school and joined the juggler's academy. He also was taught fire breathing and juggling. After that, he traveled with two fellow artists through Europe and performed on the streets of cities like Paris, Munich, Moscow and Warsaw. He met a children's circus two years later and began to learn children's and street theatre as and pantomime.
