Alinity is included in the complaint filed against Twitch. Erik Estavillo from California filed a civil lawsuit seeking to claim $25 million in damages against Twitch. The lawsuit claimed that Twitch was exposing them to "excessively sexually suggestive content from female streamers while they were browsing the platform. Dexerto has obtained court documents showing that the person who has previously fought Microsoft Sony Nintendo Blizzard as well as Blizzard was the one who lodged a formal lawsuit on June 15. Twitch received an official summons by the court on 19th June. Estavillo is a man who according to his complaint filed with Santa Clara Superior Court of California that was filed on the 15th of June, suffers from obsessive/compulsive disorders such as addiction to sexual substances and ailments that cause him to dependent on the internet for entertainment. The complaint also claims Twitch is a major cause of these issues. The complaint continued to name a few female streamers it claims "continues to expose viewers who only want to view people playing video games on Twitch however, they are confronted by sexually addictive materials as well as content on a constant every day." Apart from Alinity among them those who have requested relief. the complaint seeks to have all streamers named above to be permanently banned because they violated Twitch's TOS and also $25 million dollars "to be split between the plaintiff and other Twitch Prime Turbo subscribers" with any leftover going to a variety of charities.
